Saturday Workshops

Ages 6–11 (Elementary) — 9:00–11:00 a.m. (2-hour block)
 Goals: safety & lab rules, aseptic technique basics (clean zones, hand positioning), accurate measuring & pipetting, fermentation model with visible CO₂, filtration/clarification, and a quick color-shift assay students can explain at home.
Pricing: $50/workshop or $125/month (4 Saturdays). Value math: 4 × $50 = $200; the monthly plan saves $75—that’s 37.5% off.

Ages 12–15 (Middle School) — 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (2-hour block)
 Goals: deeper aseptic technique habits, planning & timing runs, dilution math, process mapping from upstream (growth) to downstream (purification), quick data capture, and a brief share-out that builds confidence.
Pricing: $50/workshop or $125/month (same 37.5% off vs. $200 value).

Saturday Workshops for Toddlers + Parents

Toddlers + Grown-Up (Ages 2–5) — 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Create a core memory: parents suit up in a lab coat with their child and do a gentle, colorful hands-on experiment together (non-toxic materials, photo-worthy moments).
Pricing: $50/workshop or $125/month (save $75 vs. $200 value).

After School Program

Elementary (Ages 6–11)

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • 5:00–6:00 p.m. – Group tutoring from STEM professionals where students can ask all their questions and strengthen bio/chem/math skills for the lab.

  • 6:00–7:30 p.m. – Hands-on bioprocessing workshop (media mixing, fermentation simulation with yeast, filtration/clarification, simple assay readout, and quick data talk).
    Tuition: $300/month (flat).

  • SIngle Drop-In Rate- $75

Middle School (Ages 12–15)

Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays

  • 5:00–6:00 p.m. – Group tutoring from STEM professionals focused on lab math, units/dilutions, graph reading, and core concepts—students can bring school questions.

  • 6:00–7:30 p.m. – Hands-on bioprocessing workshop (media prep, growth simulation, stepwise purification, colorimetric assay, basic QC mindset).
    Tuition: $300/month (flat). $75/ Drop Rate

Our FAQs

  • After-School: $300/month flat (tutoring + labs).
    Saturday: $50/workshop or $125/month (4 Saturdays). That monthly plan saves $75 vs. $200 value—37.5% off.

  • Hands-on bioprocessing: safety + aseptic technique, media prep, yeast-based growth simulation, clarification/filtration, quick assay and simple data capture. We provide PPE and clear steps. All demos are non-edible; no food/drink in lab areas.

  • Our lab: 3675 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. To keep it hands-on, we cap sessions at 24 seats. Early sign-up is recommended.

  • Closed-toe shoes; comfortable clothes. We supply PPE and materials. Please avoid loose hair/jewelry in lab areas.

  • For Saturday and After-School, please contact Team@nafeesino.com or 215-888-4431 ≥48 hours before the session start; later requests may not be eligible.

  • We’re one of the few youth bioprocessing programs in the country. Sessions are led by industry scientists, fast-paced, and outcomes-focused—students leave knowing what they did and why it matters.

  • For Toddlers (2–5), a parent/guardian dresses in a lab coat and participates with their child—built-in core memory! For other age groups, parents are welcome to drop off and Hang out! As we provide food and snacks!
