Elementary STEM Group

Ages 6–11 • Saturdays 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Fast, hands-on labs led by real scientists. Kids explore bioprocessing through cell growth, simple purification, fermentation, biofuels, water cleanup, biomaterial gels/capsules, and color-change tests—building confidence and real lab skills while having fun.

Middle/High School STEM Group:

Ages 12–18 • Saturdays 12:30 p.m.–2:30 p.m.
 Fast, hands-on labs led by real scientists. Teens explore bioprocessing through sterile technique, growth curves, clarification/purification, enzyme kinetics, filtration & chromatography challenges, beginner formulation/design, and data interpretation—building confidence and real lab skills while having fun.

Toddler STEM Group:

Ages 3–5 • Saturdays • 1hr - sessions
Parents get dressed up in lab coats too—create a core memory together in a real lab. Enjoy a guided, safe, and colorful mini-experiment side-by-side with your toddler (think fizz, color change, gentle bubbles), designed for little hands and short attention spans. We provide the lab coats, goggles, and simple tools; you bring the smiles and the photo moments. Walk away with a tiny “lab achievement” keepsake and a big boost of curiosity and joy.

Our FAQs

  • After-School: $300/month flat (tutoring + labs).
    Saturday: $50/workshop or $125/month (4 Saturdays). That monthly plan saves $75 vs. $200 value—37.5% off.

  • Hands-on bioprocessing: safety + aseptic technique, media prep, yeast-based growth simulation, clarification/filtration, quick assay and simple data capture. We provide PPE and clear steps. All demos are non-edible; no food/drink in lab areas.

  • Our lab: 3675 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. To keep it hands-on, we cap sessions at 24 seats. Early sign-up is recommended.

  • Closed-toe shoes; comfortable clothes. We supply PPE and materials. Please avoid loose hair/jewelry in lab areas.

  • For Saturday and After-School, please contact Team@nafeesino.com or 215-888-4431 ≥48 hours before the session start; later requests may not be eligible.

  • We’re one of the few youth bioprocessing programs in the country. Sessions are led by industry scientists, fast-paced, and outcomes-focused—students leave knowing what they did and why it matters.

  • For Toddlers (2–5), a parent/guardian dresses in a lab coat and participates with their child—built-in core memory! For other age groups, parents are welcome to drop off and Hang out! As we provide food and snacks!
